Indoor and Outdoor Residential Pickleball Courts

A home court should balance the playing area with room to move safely beyond the lines. We can help you explore a dedicated pickleball layout or a multi-sport court, and review surface options for your indoor or outdoor setting. Court dimensions, clearances and equipment placement need to be planned together; a smaller yard does not automatically accommodate a regulation court.

Sport Court is the Official Modular Tile Surface Partner of USA Pickleball

Interested in a pickleball court for your recreation facility or school gym? Sport Court provides commercial pickleball court construction, as well.

Choose a Surface for the Way You Play

Review ball response, traction, drainage and maintenance alongside the appearance of your court. Sport Court modular surfaces offer different product specifications, so the material should be selected for the intended location and use.

Ask about SportGame PB, the proposed base and the current manufacturer care instructions. We will discuss the layout and surface options with you before defining the installation scope.

Plan Your Backyard Pickleball Court

Space, base and drainage

Share the usable dimensions of your yard, photos, slope and access for construction equipment. The total site footprint needs to account for play beyond the court lines, fencing and circulation. Existing concrete or asphalt should be assessed before assuming it can support a new surface.

Neighbors, lighting and approvals

Discuss paddle and ball noise, nearby homes, light spill and playing hours early. Check applicable local requirements and HOA rules before finalizing the location or ordering materials. Any lighting, fencing or acoustic measures should be included in the project scope.

What affects the price?

A useful estimate separates site preparation, the base, court size, surface, net system, fencing and optional lighting. Access, drainage and the condition of an existing slab can change the cost. Request a site-specific court estimate with your city, photos and approximate dimensions.

Can pickleball share a basketball court?

It may be possible to combine sports with planned line markings and removable equipment. Review clearances, net placement and the priorities of each sport before choosing a backyard multi-sport layout.
